Former Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas has posted a rather intriguing photo on his Instagram profile, and it's blowing up the internet.

The Alfa Romeo driving hails from Finland, and well, skinny dipping in ice-cold water is quite their thing in his birthland. So it's no surprise Bottas would do the same in warmer weather since it is summer in the Northern Hemisphere while we're heading into a chilly winter down in South Africa. The photo shows Bottas posted the image in a river or lake in Aspen, Colorado, as the F1 driver is enjoying a few days off 'sight-seeing' after the Miami Grand Prix in the United States before the next race in Spain later this month.

There's not much more to say about this, except that it's a pretty nice distraction from all the bling drama over at Mercedes with Lewis Hamilton. And, it's safe to say Bottas is a lot more camera-friendly than our much-loved Kimi 'Iceman' Raikkonen who had plenty of quirks but being friendly wasn't always one of them.

Bottas races for Alfa Romeo racing and has been showing really good form so far in the 2022 season. He is currently 8th in the driver standings with 30 points to his name.
