According to a report in a German publication, seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher had undergone stem cell treatment at a Paris hospital but insisted there was no miracle treatment for the 50-year-old.

There is very little known about the former Ferrari driver's condition after he suffered a serious head injury while skiing with his family in December 2013.

Jean-Francois Payen, a doctor part of Schumacher's recovery team told In Touch that there is a plan in place to see the F1 legend get to a better state than he is currently in, Stuff.co.nz reported

Payen said Schumacher was making progress in a positive state, however, he couldn't divulge any more details as the family has kept updates out of the media's grasp since the incident.

The Daily Express said another doctor working with Schumacher, Professor Philippe Menasche said: "But it was clear from the outset that no miracles would happen to him during therapy."
