Daily Show host Trevor Noah mingled with Formula 1 drivers and team principals on Saturday, during the qualifying session for the United States Grand Prix.

The South African comedian is in Austin performing in his Loud and Clear tour.

Noah hung out with the Renault and Haas teams and met the latter team principal's Gunther Steiner, and said he was a big fan of the German.

Check out the footage and tweets below:

The Renault F1 team said on Twitter that Noah is 'smart, hugely knowledgable about our beloved sport, and very funny (obviously).'

Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas starts from pole for Sunday's race at 21:00 (CAT), while team mate Lewis Hamilton can wrap up his sixth world title if he denies the Finn a win at the Circuit of the Americas.
