POLL: 'Would be great for the city' - thousands of readers support potential Formula E race in Cape Town

In June 2019, the City of Cape Town says it could host a Formula E race in the future, reports the City’s Executive Mayor Alderman Dan Plato. 

At a press conference, Plato revealed that the city was approached by a consortium to host a potential Formula E race in the Mother City.

The majority of readers (57%) support Cape Town hosting a ePrix though many (36%) question whether the city has the required infrastructure to pull off the event.
