Fastest growing segment
Crossovers are increasing in popularity due to being larger than traditional passenger cars, while still being smaller than larger SUVs.
The crossover and SUV segment are the fastest-growing segments in South Africa and although local motorists are passionate about pickups, within the South African passenger vehicle segment, 27% of vehicles being bought by customers today are now SUVs or crossovers from 2019 to date.
