Johannesburg - New motoring show The Grand Tour is in full swing and the former Top Gear trio have lost none of their trademark characteristics including damaging vehicles.

Earlier in July, Wheels24 reported that Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May were in Johannesburg filming the first episode of their new motoring show.

Though details regarding what the show entails, and more importantly which cars the trio will drive are scarce, humour and sarcasm are rampant at least according to the show's trailers.

They broke a what?!

The Grand Tour team posted a video on Facebook titled 'Of course we didn't take it off-road'. In the clip the three presenters can be heard discussing a rental car they apparently damaged.

In the video, Hammond walks towards Clarkson and May, saying: "It's a rip! Yes it is!"

Then comes the sound of clinging metal and a dusty, black Range Rover Sport enters the picture, drives past the trio and leave them laughing at the hilarity of the situation.
