Everything from the design, grades, platform and powertrain is brand-new and gives buyers more value over its predecessors, with retail pricing starting from R1 283 200.

Starting with the powertrain, customers have a choice of two new engines - a twin-turbo 3.5-litre V6 petrol or 3.3-litre V6 turbodiesel engine that replaces the outgoing V8. The petrol unit churns out 305kW and 650Nm, while the diesel has figures of 225kW and 700Nm, both of which is paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
