It's mighty bold to predict a vehicle's success even before it's made its debut in a market. Scheduled for a South African launch in February 2021, the Suzuki Vitara Brezza - or Brezza, for ease of pronunciation - will grace the local market with its presence and expand the Japanese company's product offering. When it arrives, Suzuki South Africa will offer a total of 12 vehicles, of which the Brezza will form part of an SUV/crossover/MPV lineup consisting of six models: Ertiga, Ignis, Jimny, S-Presso, and Vitara.
That is 50% of Suzuki's product lineup, but a crucial move as the automaker looks to increase its share in the South African market. In October 2020, Suzuki SA registered its highest ever monthly sales figure when 2032 new vehicles were sold. It may seem insignificant to some, but that figure placed the automaker sixth the sixth best-selling carmaker in South Africa for that month.
