There is no better feeling than buying a new car and starting it up for the first time. 

Former Top Gear presenter James May recently had the pleasure of unpacking a brand new Toyota Yaris GRMN, covered in cardboard throughout.

Taking delivery

The Yaris GRMN is Toyota's latest performance offering (besides the new Supra) producing 156kW from its supercharged 1.8 litre engine.

May took his time unveiling the car, reminding viewers of his traditional nickname 'Captain Slow'. Oddly, even the interior of the car is filled with cardboard....

Unfortunately SA fans of the GRMN, the hot hatch won't be available locally
