KwaZulu-Natal Road traffic inspectorate spokesperson, Zinhle Mali advised motorists making use of the N3 Durban bound near Marianhill Toll Plaza to proceed with caution due to heavy traffic delays.

“We saw an average of 2000 vehicles passing the toll per hour today which we believe is due to holiday makers making their way to KZN for the upcoming holiday on April 27.

“Also, we note it is Friday which is typically a very busy day,” said Mali, adding that there were no accidents to report currently.
