Guitarist and singer Barry Thomson will be performing his show, Learning to Fly, at the Rhumbelow Theatre — Pietermaritzburg at the Allan Wilson Shellhole, in Alan Paton Avenue, at 2 pm on November 29.
During the performance, Thomson will reveal the artists and songs who inspired him, and will tell stories of how he began his career and the roads he has travelled. Learning To Fly will include music by Tom Petty, Jack Johnson, Jackson Brown, Travelling Wilburys, The Eagles, Neil Diamond, Maroon 5, Neil Young, Dire Straits, and a few original songs.
