eThekwini residents expressed outrage at a Facebook post on fibre installation by the municipality.

Residents in Durban slammed the eThekwini Municipality after they were asked to take responsibility of municipal infrastructure during fibre cable installations in the City.

But it turned out that the municipality uploaded an incorrect post on its Facebook page on Monday.

When The Witness enquired about the post with the municipality, it was informed that it was incorrect and that the communications department was waiting for approval before it could release a statement on this.
