A Durban restaurant was closed on Tuesday after police discovered a sewage leak in the kitchen.

This follows a visit to the premises by Durban Metro Police along with health inspectors from the eThekwini Municipality. They conducted a number of site visits in the Point precinct to enforce by-laws.

In one of the site inspections, they visited a Big Jo’s fast food restaurant and discovered a sewage leak in the backroom leading to the kitchen.
