Two people were rescued after their boat capsized in Salmon Bay, in Ballito, on Thursday morning.

Marc Lagane from IPSS Medical Rescue said when paramedics arrived at the scene, they were told that two people who were in a boat had fallen into the water.

“[They] had been onboard their boat when the craft was capsized, casting them into the water. The duo found themselves in distress out towards back-line.
