Parts of Msunduzi local municipality will be without electricity for ten hours on Friday May 14. The outage will be due to the maintenance of the Crossway primary substation. 

The outage is set to start at 7am until 6pm.

Areas to be affected include: Dennis Shepstone Drive, Umngeni Water, Berry Hill, Hilton, Hilton Gardens, Sweetwaters, Life Hilton Private Hospital, Winterskloof, Mondi, Cedara, Victoria Country Club Park and offices, Queen Elizabeth Park, World's view, Parts of Old Howick road and surrounding areas. 

The municipality has cautioned residents to treat all electrical equipment and installations as live at all times.
