Families of the three ANC members killed in Durban at the weekend are afraid of going to the polls in the municipal elections because they fear for their lives.

Beatrice Nzama (60), Ncami Shange (34) and Philisiwe Jili (37) were shot and killed on Saturday in a drive-by shooting outside the Buhlebethu Primary School in Inanda, Durban.

They were on their way to vote during an ANC nomination process for ward councillor.
