The mother of Sanele Mngomezulu (19) is demanding justice for her son, who was shot and killed during the violent unrest in Phoenix, Durban.

Mngomezulu is one of 20 people who were killed in the area when violent and racially-charged tensions gripped the area last week.

According to Mngomezulu’s grandmother, Nombuso Khoza, his body was found on the side of the road on Trenance Park Road. Khoza said Mngomezulu lived with her in Phoenix and was a playful teenager who liked taking pictures and videos with his camera.
