Msunduzi Hospice Association is hosting a three-week online series to create awareness of breast cancer.

As part of breast cancer awareness month, the Msunduzi Hospice Association will host a three-week online series to educate, offer inspiration and create awareness around the need for women to check their breasts.

Each session will feature a guest speaker, starting with Lin Bassett, a breast cancer survivor, who will be offering a story of hope and inspiration to participants on October 16.

On October 23, Dr Shane Cullis, an oncologist from the Hopelands Cancer Centre, will be guest speaker, with Sheila Planteau de Maroussem, palliative care manager at Msunduzi Hospice, speaking at the final session on October 30.

The online series will be delivered via the Zoom platform on Friday afternoons from 1 pm to 1.30 pm. Entry is R50.

E-mail fundraiser@hospicekzn.co.za to reserve your space. All proceeds will benefit the Msunduzi Hospice Association.
