The residents of Hillcrest on Sunday joined a countrywide solidarity protest against Shell’s planned seismic activity off the Wild Coast.

This comes after the energy giant, Shell, recently announced that it was finally ready to go ahead with seismic testing from Morgan Bay to Port St Johns in Eastern Cape.

The testing will map potential deposits of oil and gas under the seabed.
