Former government spokesperson and President Cyril Ramaphosa critic, Mzwanele Jimmy Manyi, has been appointed as former president Jacob Zuma's spokesperson.
The announcement was made by Zuma’s daughter, Dudu Zuma-Sambudla on Twitter on Tuesday.
Manyi took over as the owner of the now defunct previously Gupta family-owned media outlets, The New Age (TNA) and ANN7 shortly after the Guptas left the country. He has been a high-profile defender of Zuma.
According to Zuma-Sambudla, Manyi will handle all Zuma's communication matters and those of the JG Zuma Foundation through his company.
