A KZN induna is the third suspect arrested for the murder of a Kranskop man, Sakhiseni Dlomo (65) who was shot dead in September last year.

Xoshimpi Mzila (76) and his two sons, Sboniso (23) and Mpume (41), were arrested separately following Dlomo’s murder. Mzila was arrested on Tuesday, and his son Mpume on March 18 in Gauteng.

Sboniso was arrested and charged with the murder and appeared at the Pietermaritzburg high court where he pleaded guilty on March 8 and was sentenced to 20 years in prison for Dlomo’s murder.
