The mayoral vehicle of the Alfred Duma Municipality was involved in an accident last December.

Newly-elected Alfred Duma Municipality mayor Zama Sibisi was not in the car when the mayoral vehicle crashed last year.

That is according to a statement released by municipal manager Sixolile Ngiba on Tuesday.

On December 27, last year the mayoral driver was on his way to fetch Sibisi when he got into an accident, said Ngiba.
