ANC KwaZulu-Natal provincial chairperson, Sihle Zikalala, cuts the ruling party’s birthday cake during the organisation’s 110th anniversary provincial rally held in Mpophomeni, Howick, on Sunday.

The ANC, which is on an all-out campaign to snatch back the uMngeni Municipality from the DA, on Sunday fired the opening salvo.

Led by ANC KwaZulu-Natal provincial chairperson and premier Sihle Zikalala, and other ANC top guns descended on Howick’s Mpophomeni township where the party in the province celebrated it’s 110th anniversary.

Buoyed by throngs of ANC supporters who converged at the Mpophomeni Sports Ground, ruling party’s Moses Mabhida regional chairperson Mzi Thebolla said the ANC will win back the uMngeni Municipality.
