A sitting of the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature on Tuesday became the latest parliamentary sitting in the country to be zoombombed.

Zoombombing or Zoom raiding refers to the unwanted, disruptive intrusion, generally by internet trolls, into a video-conference call.

In this latest incident, a member of the Anti-President Cyril Ramaphosa brigade hijacked the provincial legislature’s State of the Province (Sopa) hybrid debate after gaining access to the legislature’s virtual platform.
