Business owners in Greytown, in the KZN Midlands, are on high alert following an armed robbery of a local shisanyama on Thursday.

The Witness established that an unknown armed man entered the business premises in Durban Street and held up the cashier at the till.

He then removed cash from the till before he fled the scene.
