Supporters of former president Jacob Zuma are pushing for the ANC in KwaZulu-Natal to be part of the Free Jacob Zuma protests.

The Zuma supporters, who control several ANC branches in the province, this week wrote to the ANC provincial leadership, asking it to allow party members in KZN to stage pro-Zuma protests.

In a letter to ANC provincial chairperson, Mdumuseni Ntuli, the KZN Zuma supporters said it would be wrong for the ANC not to support its former president.
