Political analysts have predicted victory for the ANC in the November 1 polls.

The prediction comes two weeks before the crucial municipal elections, which the ANC is contesting on the back of mounting internal challenges.

The ANC, which received 53,9% of the votes in the 2016 municipal elections, is expected to shed significant support in the upcoming polls due to among other things, a poor service delivery track record, internal fighting and a lack of funds.
