An Independent candidate who ran in ward 13 in Mpophomeni in the uMngeni Municipality has alleged that a ballot box was not counted.

However, the allegations have been dismissed by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC).

Boxer Gabuza, the candidate, said according to his agent who was inside the voting station, the ballot box was only seen once the votes had been finalised.
