Government is working on relief packages for businesses that were affected by the past week’s unrest.

The department of small business development is also working towards assisting small businesses that had been hit by looters. Acting Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshaveni revealed this during a media briefing on Tuesday.

Ntshaveni said President Cyril Ramaphosa was also in talks with business on various issues, including those around the lack of insurance for small businesses.
