The decision by some healthcare workers not to get the Covid-19 jabs does not mean the vaccines are not safe.

This was the assurance given by the KwaZulu-Natal Health MEC Nomagugu Simelane yesterday.

Speaking at a press briefing in Durban, she said part of the reason the department was not reaching its vaccine number targets is due to healthcare workers who refuse to take the vaccination.
