Tribute to ‘gifted’ Anele 'Nellie' Tembe

“It feels like we have lost a member of our family,” Hilton chef, Jackie Cameron, said of the death of Anele “Nellie” Tembe at the weekend.

The talented young chef, who celebrated her engagement to rapper AKA (real name Kiernan Forbes) in February, graduated from the Jackie Cameron School of Food and Wine in 2018.

“One of my pupils told me that Nellie was trending on Twitter,” Cameron said. “I thought it was fake news at first, so I sent her a message. When she didn’t respond I called her dad, who confirmed the news.
