The IFP, which remains a major political force in KwaZulu-Natal, on Tuesday flexed its muscles in a rally which drew thousands of supporters.

IFP president, Velenkosini Hlabisa, the key speaker, urged the crowd at the Zululand District stronghold to rally behind the party in the November 1 municipal elections.

“Even though we as the IFP didn’t get the overwhelming support we had hoped to get in the 2016 local government elections, we were still able to deliver to the residents of this area.
