The IFP has launched an internal investigation after an event organised by the Ulundi Municipality, was portrayed as the party’s elections rally.

According to a poster sent out by the IFP, party president, Velenkosini Hlabisa, was billed to be the main speaker at the IFP’s Sisebenzela Wena (We work for you) rally.

However, it turned out that the event, which took place in Ulundi on Saturday, was being funded by the IFP-controlled Ulundi Municipality.
