The late Judge Jerome Mnguni.

A Pietermaritzburg High Court judge has ruled that Judge Jerome Mnguni is to be buried in his family graveyard, in Nongoma.

However, to show the court’s displeasure at the “deplorable” way in which the judge’s brother, Funulwazi treated Mnguni’s widow, Nomusa, he was ordered to pay costs of her urgent application to the high court.

Judge Carol Sibiya said the “unconscionable” way that Funulwazi treated Nomusa was what had resulted in the urgent application.
