KZN father who stabbed son (19) to death granted bail

A father has been given bail after he was arrested for allegedly stabbing his 19-year-old son to death.

KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbele, said the 54-year-old man stabbed his son to death after an argument on November 28.

Mbele said the son suffered two stab wounds to the abdomen and back. The father was arrested and charged for murder.

He appeared in the Ntuzuma Magistrate’s Court on November 30 and was granted bail. The case was adjourned to January 28, 2022.
