Heavy rain is predicted over KwaZulu-Natal on Monday night.

The SA Weather Service has warned the cold snap rolling in from the Western Cape will also bring heavy rain over most of KwaZulu-Natal after sunset on Monday.

The late autumn rainfall is predicted to start with light afternoon rain over Richards Bay, Durban and Margate.

The rest of KwaZulu-Natal can expect Monday to be mostly overcast, with the sun breaking through in the afternoon over the Giants Castle, Ladysmith and Newscastle.
