A building at Gobhela Primary School was named after former president Jacob Zuma.

Tensions are running high at a KZN South Coast school following a dispute over the naming of a classroom block after former president Jacob Zuma.

This comes after last week’s event where Zuma’s son, Duduzane, officially opened the Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Mhlanganyelwa Zuma block and the Duduzane Zuma smart classroom at the Gobhela Primary School on the South Coast.

The Mathulini Traditional Authority has since informed the school management that it is against Gobhela’s association with the Zuma family.
