A park that cost more than R12 million to build has been kept locked by the KwaDukuza Municipality on the KZN North Coast for almost a year.

The upgrade to KwaDukuza People’s Park in the town’s CBD, which began in November 2018 was completed in November 2020.

The upgrade was spearheaded by the KwaDukuza Municipality and funded by the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta) through the Small Towns Rehabilitation Programme.
