The on-ramp flyover bridge to the Inkosi Albert Luthuli (M4) Freeway south bound will be closed from August 31 to September 12 due to maintenance work.
In a statement released by the eThekwini Municipality on Monday, the closure is due to work being done on the expansion bridge joint, by the City’s road provisions department.
“Traffic travelling from the City towards the M4 flyover on-ramp bridge (south bound) will be interrupted. All traffic will be detoured to Umbilo / R102 /Margaret Mncadi Avenue to join the M4 Freeway,” said the statement.
