The IFP in KwaZulu-Natal has questioned the appointment of a manager in the office of the administrator in uThukela District Municipality, in Ladysmith.
This comes after Mthokozisi “Qithi” Khumalo, an ANC member, was recently appointed as a manager in the office of the administrator at the municipality, Mzubanzi Silinga.
The district was placed under administration in 2018 by then Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta) MEC Nomusa Dube-Ncube due to its financial position.
