A dog infected with rabies was recently found hacked and burned to death at the Simbithi West Gate in Ballito.

According to Aloe Veterinary Clinic’s Jeremy Lamb, the dog was brought to the vet dead, with visible cuts and burns on its body.

“I heard some people were drunk and they were [attacking] the dog, so someone went and got the dog. I am not sure whether they were doing that because the dog was aggressive with rabies,” said Lamb.
