A recent analysis by a real estate group has confirmed the worst fears of many Durban residents that the city is morphing into a student accommodation hub.

Pam Golding Properties released an analysis stating that many property investors are buying blocks of flats and converting them into student accommodation.

However, residents in the suburban areas around central Durban have not been happy with the influx of student accommodations.
