A 20-year-old man is expected to appear in court at Newcastle today in connection with the murders and robbery of Glen (63) and Vida (60) Rafferty.
This follows an announcement by police on Friday that they had taken five men in for questioning.

A vehicle suspected to have been used in the commission of the crime was also seized.
Three of the men were released after questioning and investigations are still continuing in connection with the fifth man.
The Raffertys were attacked their house in Normandien on the morning of August 30. Both were shot dead along with their dog and the house ransacked.
