The investigating officer in the case involving Newcastle ANC heavyweight, Arthur Zwane, discussed the issue around the withdrawal of charges of attempted against him with the security guard, he was alleged to have shot.

But, she claims that Osizweni hardware security guard Nkosinathi Tshabalala was the one who brought up the matter.

Zwane, the former ANC eMalahleni regional chairperson, was arrested in November last year after allegedly shooting Tshabalala following a dispute over sanitising before entering the shop.
