Six people, who have been identified as instigators of the recent looting and vandalism in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng, have been arrested.

Addressing the media on Monday, Acting Minister in the Presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni revealed that the number of people who died due to the looting in KZN has jumped to 183.

She said some of those who have been arrested have already appeared in court.
