Tensions between the ANC in KwaZulu-Natal and the party’s national leadership over developments around former president Jacob Zuma are building.
This is after the ANC national top brass adopted a casual approach to the KZN provincial leadership’s request that the national leadership should “urgently” hold a meeting with Zuma to persuade him to comply with a Constitutional Court order to appear before the Zondo commission.
According to sources within the ANC, the party’s KZN leadership is losing its patience over the national leaders’ failure to treat the Zuma matter as urgent.
