uMgungundlovu District Municipality Mayor, Mzi Zuma, who was elected two months ago, believes the previously unstable municipality is out of the woods.

Citing the recent Auditor General (AG)’s 2020/21 unqualified audit opinion, Zuma said the municipality was performing better than in the previous years. uMgungundlovu has previously made headlines for all the wrong reasons, ranging from poor financial management to corruption.
