Extremely cold temperatures are expected in KwaZulu-Natal for the rest of the week.

South African Weather Services forecaster Wisani Maluleke said colder conditions started to kick in yesterday in most parts of the province.

He explained that these temperatures are as a result of a cold front that landed in the Western Cape recently. He said cold to very cold conditions are expected over KZN to last well into the weekend. Temperatures in the Drakensberg will be below 10° Celsius until Monday.
