KwaZulu-Natal public works spokesperson, Ndabezinhle Sibiya, has served investigators in the controversial Digital Vibes tender with court papers after he was implicated in the scandal.

According to the Special Investigative Unit (SIU) probing the company’s R150 million tender with the national health department, one of the companies which benefited from the controversial contract — Sotobe Media — was linked to Sibiya.

However, despite Sibiya distancing himself from the company, the SIU in its report released early this month, said it suspected that Sibiya was linked to the company.
