A 29-year-old man was left critically injured after he was attacked by a buffalo at a game farm in Hekpoort Magaliesburg, Gauteng.

Shawn Herbst, Netcare 911’s spokesperson, said on Monday morning, reports indicate that a 29-year-old man who works at the farm was walking along a boundary fence when he was attacked, following a confrontation with the buffalo.

Herbst said the man suffered serious crush injuries to his entire body and flown Netcare 911’s helicopter to a specialist hospital.
